A Glimpse into Sam's Day

Sam check here starts/begins/wakes up his day at seven. He quickly/briskly/slowly gets dressed and makes/eats/prepares a quick morning meal. After breakfast, Sam heads/goes/rushes to work. His job is designing websites, which he enjoys/finds challenging.

During his break, Sam chats with colleagues. When his workday wraps up, he goes to the gym/plays basketball/watches TV for a while. In the evening, Sam prepares a meal and relaxes with his family or friends. Before bed, he reads a little. Finally, Sam turns in for the night at around ten/eleven.

One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.

• Fortunately/By chance, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
• But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.

From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.

A New Friend

Sam was having a little sad. He wished to have a new buddy to play with. One day, while he was playing in the woods, he noticed something unusual. It was a little creature with colorful scales. Sam quietly approached the creature and spoke, "Hello! What's your identity?" The creature grinned and told Sam, "My name is Lily!" And so, Sam made a new mate. They spent the rest of the day playing together.

Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be best friends forever.
